Mona Harb

Mona Harb is a professor of urban studies and politics at the American University of Beirut, co-founder of the Beirut Urban Lab, and a prominent voice in discussions about the reconstruction and recovery of Beirut following the devastating port explosion on August 4, 2020. Her research highlights the grassroots initiatives and non-profit efforts that have driven much of the rebuilding process in the city.
