Georgios Sinas

Georgios Sinas (1753-1822) was a notable Greek merchant and banker who played a pivotal role in the economic landscape of 18th and early 19th century Europe. Originally from Moschopolis, he established a successful trading house in Vienna and became a significant benefactor to both the Greek community abroad and various charitable causes in Austria and Hungary, earning him a noble title from the Habsburg Emperor.
