Gerardo Hernández Noroña

Gerardo Hernández Noroña is a prominent Mexican politician and a member of the leftist Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). He has been an outspoken advocate for social justice and has held various positions within the Mexican government, including his current role as the leader of the officialist faction in the Senate. Recently, he was involved in a physical altercation with opposition senator Alejandro Moreno during a session in which tensions were heightened over accusations of narcotrafficking linked to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
