Givi Targamadze
Givi Targamadze is a prominent Georgian politician and former head of the Security Committee in the Parliament of Georgia. He has been in the news recently due to his refusal to appear before a parliamentary investigative commission, which is examining the activities of political figures during the 2003-2012 regime. The commission's chair, Tea Tsulukiani, has warned Targamadze that his absence could lead to criminal liability concerning his actions during critical events in Georgian history, including the August War.
