Gregory Sanabria
Gregory Sanabria is a former political prisoner from Venezuela who was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a voluntary immigration appointment on June 12, 2023. He had previously been arrested during anti-government protests in 2014 and endured severe mistreatment while incarcerated. After his release in 2018, he documented his journey to the United States, where he sought asylum due to the threats against his life in Venezuela.
