Hamid
Hamid, a 53-year-old fisherman from Citemu village in Cirebon, Indonesia, has been living in a dilapidated house with his wife and five children. His hopes for a home renovation under the 'Rumah Tidak Layak Huni' program have been crushed due to embezzlement of funds by the village head, now imprisoned. Struggling with debt and limited work options, Hamid's only income comes from a small shop run by his wife, as he continues to hope for assistance from the new village government.
