Humayun
Humayun was the second Mughal emperor, known for his tumultuous reign from 1530 to 1540 and again from 1555 until his death in 1556. The son of Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire, Humayun faced significant challenges, including the loss of his empire to Sher Shah Suri, during which he spent years in exile. He is remembered for his efforts to consolidate Mughal rule and for his patronage of the arts, including architecture, which led to the construction of several significant monuments. His legacy includes the establishment of the Mughal dynasty that his son, Akbar, would later expand and solidify.
