
Sambhaji
Sambhaji was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, ruling from 1681 until his death in 1689. He was the son of Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire, and is remembered for his fierce resistance against the Mughal Empire and his efforts to consolidate Maratha power during a tumultuous period of Indian history.
