Aurangzeb Alamgir
Aurangzeb Alamgir was the sixth Mughal emperor, reigning from 1658 to 1707. He is known for his expansion of the Mughal Empire to its greatest territorial extent, as well as for his strict adherence to Islamic principles, which significantly influenced the cultural and political landscape of India. His rule was marked by various military campaigns and the consolidation of power, but he also faced significant resistance from regional powers, including the Marathas.
