Ignatius Callender
Ignatius Callender was a volunteer in the Easter Rising and the son of Mary Anne Callender. He actively participated in the uprising, handling ammunition and delivering messages. His resourcefulness was demonstrated when he helped an elderly woman cross a street under gunfire, and he managed to evade capture during the chaos of the conflict.
