Ilina Neghina Versoiu

Ilina Neghina Versoiu is a Romanian immigrant who arrived in Spain in search of a better life. After living in fear of deportation for three years, she celebrated the 2005 regularization that changed her life, allowing her to work legally, learn the language, and eventually obtain Spanish citizenship. She now lives in Madrid with a son and actively contributes to society while reminiscing about her initial struggles.
