Ion Frunzetti

Ion Frunzetti, born on January 20, 1918, in Bacău, was a renowned Romanian art historian and academic, celebrated for his contributions to aesthetics and art history. He studied at the University of Bucharest, where he excelled in his thesis on the tragic in visual arts, and later became an influential figure in the academic community. Frunzetti held positions at various prestigious institutions and was known for his dedication to the study and promotion of Romanian art until his passing in 1985.
