Irina Emeliánova

Irina Emeliánova was the daughter of Olga Ivínskaia, the last love of Russian poet Boris Pasternak. Following Pasternak's death in 1960, Irina and her mother were arrested by the KGB, illustrating the severe consequences faced by those associated with dissidents in the Soviet Union, particularly in relation to the publication of controversial works such as 'Doctor Zhivago.'
