Ismail Barhoum
Ismail Barhoum is a senior member of Hamas, serving as the head of the financial department in Rafah and a member of the political bureau of Hamas in Gaza. He was elected to his position on March 14, 2021, by the Shura Council of the organization. Barhoum was targeted and killed in an Israeli airstrike at Al-Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, where he was reported to be a key figure in Hamas's financial operations.
