Ivan Shevtsov is a 99-year-old war veteran from Semey, Kazakhstan, who served in the Red Army during World War II. Throughout his life, he has cherished family and the peace that followed the war more than any military accolades, which include the Order of the Patriotic War and the Order of the Red Star.
