Jamel Gorchane

Jamel Gorchane was a 36-year-old jihadist who perpetrated a fatal attack on police administrative officer Stéphanie Monfermé in Rambouillet, France, in April 2021. He had arrived in France irregularly in 2009 and had a history of psychological instability. The investigation into his actions concluded that he acted alone, and despite his radicalization, no links to terrorist networks were established.
