Jean-Baptiste Salvaing
Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, aged 42, was a French police commander who was killed in the same attack that claimed the life of his partner, Jessica Schneider, in June 2016. He was attacked at their home in Magnanville, where he was able to alert authorities before succumbing to his injuries.
