Janko Hunjadi

Janko Hunjadi was a notable military leader and nobleman in the Kingdom of Hungary during the 15th century. He is best remembered for his role in the defense against the Ottoman Empire, particularly during the Crusade of 1444, where he commanded forces that aimed to repel the Ottomans but faced a devastating defeat at the Battle of Varna.
