Jo Barnes

Jo Barnes is an epidemiologist at Stellenbosch University who has taken part in citizen-led initiatives to monitor water quality in Cape Town's polluted areas. She co-wrote the Project Blue report, highlighting concerns about the impact of pollution on public health and the environment, and actively engages in field sampling to assess water contamination.
