Leslie Petrik

Leslie Petrik is an emeritus chemistry professor at the University of the Western Cape and a co-author of the Project Blue report. She has been actively involved in environmental research, particularly focusing on the levels of pharmaceuticals and chemicals in marine organisms, which she attributes to inadequate wastewater treatment practices in Cape Town.
