
José Antônio Nogueira Belham
José Antônio Nogueira Belham is a retired Brazilian Army general who served as the commander of the DOI-Codi of the 1st Army during the military dictatorship in Brazil from 1964 to 1985. He has been accused of torturing and being involved in the death of Rubens Paiva, a former deputy and engineer, who was abducted and killed in 1971.
