Juan Hurtado Campos
Juan Hurtado Campos was a Venezuelan army lieutenant colonel and the chief of the Armory Park at the Miraflores Palace, responsible for managing the presidential arsenal. Hurtado was known for his integrity and was a member of the Freemasonry, which made him a target within the oppressive regime of Nicolás Maduro. He attempted to arm dissident Óscar Pérez to support a rebellion against the government but was betrayed and subsequently disappeared in 2018, a victim of the regime's brutal repression.
