Juan Tambolero

Juan Tambolero is an activist and farmer from San Gregorio Atlapulco, a locality in Mexico City. He works with traditional chinampa agriculture and is dedicated to protecting local water resources and the endangered axolotl. Tambolero has taken a stand against government policies that threaten the environment and has engaged his community in cultural initiatives, including a literary workshop to raise awareness about local ecological issues.
