Kamil Idris
Kamil Idris is a Sudanese politician who recently became the first prime minister of Sudan since the military-led coup in 2021. Appointed by army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Idris has dissolved the country's caretaker government in a bid to establish a new administration amid ongoing conflict between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. In his inaugural speech, he emphasized a commitment to neutrality among political factions and focused on restoring stability, security, and reconstruction in Sudan.
