Karen Powers

Karen Powers is a resident of Illinois and a mother of a Conant High School graduate. She gained attention during a recent District 211 school board meeting where she vocally opposed the inclusion of a transgender athlete on the girls' volleyball team, arguing that it compromised the safety and fairness for female athletes.
