Kászim Szulejmáni

Kászim Szulejmáni was a major general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and commander of its Quds Force, which is responsible for extraterritorial operations. He gained notoriety for orchestrating Iran's military strategy in the region and was viewed as a key figure in Iran's influence across the Middle East until his assassination by a U.S. drone strike in January 2020.
