Kit Yates

Kit Yates is a professor of mathematical biology and public engagement at the University of Bath, known for his work in applying mathematical principles to biological problems. He is the author of 'The Maths of Life and Death' and 'How to Expect the Unexpected', where he explores the role of mathematics in everyday life and decision-making. Recently, Yates made headlines for resigning from his position as associate editor at the Royal Society's journal Open Science, in protest against the society's failure to address the controversial behavior of fellow Elon Musk, which he believes undermines the integrity of science.
