Lam Wing-kee

Lam Wing-kee is a Hong Kong bookseller and pro-democracy activist known for his outspoken criticism of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After being detained in Mainland China in 2015 for selling books critical of the government, he relocated to Taiwan where he continues to advocate for freedom of expression and the rights of Hong Kong citizens. He has been a prominent figure in discussions surrounding cross-border repression and the safety of Hong Kongers living abroad.
