Larry Dolan

Larry Dolan was a prominent businessman and sports executive who owned the Cleveland Guardians, a Major League Baseball team, from 2000 until his passing in 2023. A lifelong resident of Cleveland, Dolan was deeply involved in his community and made significant contributions through philanthropy, education, and sports. He served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marines and was known for his passion for baseball, having realized his dream of owning his hometown team. Under his ownership, the Guardians enjoyed numerous winning seasons and a trip to the World Series in 2016.
