Larysa is a Ukrainian refugee who fled her home country due to the ongoing conflict with Russia. After relocating to Námestovo, Slovakia, she has found solace in creating traditional Ukrainian desserts, particularly zefir, a sweet treat that serves as a tangible connection to her homeland. Through her culinary skills, she aims to share a piece of Ukrainian culture while expressing gratitude for the kindness she and her family have received from the Slovak community during their difficult journey.
