Leonard Kleinrock
Leonard Kleinrock is an American computer scientist and a key figure in the development of the internet. He was instrumental in creating the first packet switching network, ARPANET, which laid the groundwork for what would become the internet. Kleinrock's pioneering work began in the 1960s when he published a seminal paper on packet switching theory, and he oversaw the first message sent over ARPANET in 1969. Despite the internet's evolution and commercialization, Kleinrock has expressed concern about its negative impacts and the unforeseen consequences of its widespread use.
