Leonidas Muñoz

Leonidas Muñoz is a Chilean man who spent over 40 years carrying his missing younger brother's birth certificate in his pocket until their reunion in Nyköping, Sweden. His brother was adopted under questionable circumstances as an infant, and Muñoz has been vocal about the injustices surrounding illegal adoptions from Chile to Sweden. He believes that the Swedish state should acknowledge its role in these adoptions, which he labels as shameful exploitation of vulnerable families.
