Lo Shih-hung
Lo Shih-hung is a communications professor at National Chung Cheng University and a cofounder and chairman of the Taiwan FactCheck Center (TFC), which was established in 2018 to monitor and verify the accuracy of news and information in Taiwan. Recently, he made headlines by addressing rumors regarding the TFC's funding, clarifying that the organization has never received donations from the US Agency for International Development (USAID), but did receive funding from the Open Society Foundations (OSF). Lo emphasized the importance of transparency in funding and the challenges faced by the TFC in securing local support for its operations.
