Lorenzo D’Addario

Lieutenant General Lorenzo D’Addario is the commander of NATO’s Allied Reaction Force (ARF), a newly established military unit designed for rapid deployment and operational flexibility across multiple domains including air, sea, land, cyber, and space. He has been vocal about the importance of readiness and adaptability in NATO's strategy, particularly in light of increasing tensions with Russia and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. His leadership was highlighted during the Steadfast Dart 2025 exercises in Greece, which showcased NATO's ability to operate effectively without direct US involvement.
