Louis XV (1710-1774), known as Louis the Beloved, was the King of France from 1715 until his death in 1774. His reign was marked by both cultural flourishing and significant political challenges, and he is remembered for his contributions to the arts, as well as for the lavish lifestyle of the French court during his time.
