Louise Aerts

Louise Aerts is the acting registrar and chief executive officer of the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, an organization that has been instrumental in streamlining the application process for internationally educated nurses in British Columbia. Under her leadership, the college has worked collaboratively with the provincial government to reduce accreditation times significantly, making it easier for American nurses to join the Canadian healthcare system. Her efforts focus on ensuring that the qualifications and expertise of U.S. nurses are recognized, ultimately addressing the healthcare worker shortage in the province.
