Luigi Nicholas Mangione is a young man from Towson, Maryland, born on May 6, 1998, to wealthy Italian-American parents. A valedictorian and graduate of both Gilman School and the University of Pennsylvania, he excelled academically and professionally as a data engineer. However, following personal struggles with chronic health issues and a gradual withdrawal from social connections, he became embroiled in controversy after being accused of the murder of Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, on December 4, 2024.
