Luis Villaherrera is the founder of Tracoda, a nonprofit organization based in El Salvador that utilizes technology to assist journalists in investigating government data for corruption. He recently faced a funding crisis due to the suspension of financial support from the National Endowment for Democracy and USAID, which forced him to lay off the majority of his staff and halt operations.
