Maciej Krakowian

Maciej 'Slab' Krakowian was a highly skilled Polish Air Force pilot, known for his expertise in flying the F-16 fighter jet. With over 1,400 flight hours, including about 1,200 on the F-16, he served as an instructor and later as the leader of the F-16 Tiger Demo Team Poland, showcasing the aircraft's capabilities at international airshows. His dynamic flying style, characterized by aggressive maneuvers and close turns, earned him recognition and accolades, including the prestigious 'As the Crow Flies Trophy' at the Royal International Air Tattoo in 2025. Tragically, he lost his life in a training accident during practice for the AirSHOW in Radom, Poland.
