Mannerheim Carl Gustav Emil

Carl Gustav Emil Mannerheim was a Finnish military leader and statesman who played a critical role in Finland's independence and defense during the Winter War against the Soviet Union. Serving as the Commander-in-Chief of the Finnish Defense Forces, he was instrumental in the military strategies that helped Finland maintain its sovereignty. Mannerheim later became Finland's president and is remembered as a national hero.
