Maria Chiara Carrozza

Maria Chiara Carrozza is an Italian scientist and politician, currently serving as the President of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy. She is recognized for her contributions to the field of biomedical engineering and has been instrumental in initiatives to attract researchers back to Italy, successfully bringing numerous scientists to the country in an effort to combat the 'brain drain' and foster innovation.
