Marilyn

Marilyn is an investigative agent from the Specialized Section on Gender Violence, Human Trafficking, and Illicit Migrant Trafficking of the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in Costa Rica. Her work focuses on addressing the increasing cases of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in San José, where she has observed a significant rise in reports of these crimes, attributed in part to migration phenomena. Under her guidance, the OIJ seeks to combat the criminal networks that exploit vulnerable women, often using clandestine operations to shield their activities from law enforcement.
