Mario Juruna

Mario Juruna was a Brazilian indigenous leader and politician, recognized for his efforts to represent indigenous rights during Brazil's redemocratization period in the 1980s. He was an influential figure in drafting the constitutional rights of indigenous peoples and worked alongside Raoni Metyktire to advocate for land rights and political representation.
