On that tragic day, she lost both of her legs in the attack but has since transformed her life, channeling her experiences into advocacy for better support for victims and serving as a role model for amputee athletes. Wright's resilience led her to compete in wheelchair volleyball and aim for the 2012 Paralympics, earning an MBE in 2016 for her contributions to sport and mentorship for others facing similar challenges.
