Maya England is a U.S. citizen who gained media attention following a distressing incident involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Alamosa, Colorado. On September 24, 2023, while traveling with her family, including her ten-month-old baby, England's vehicle was surrounded by ICE agents, who subsequently attempted to forcibly enter the car. Despite her pleas and the presence of her infant, the agents proceeded to arrest her husband, leading to widespread concerns over the treatment of families in immigration enforcement actions.
