Miguel Rodríguez Torres
Miguel Rodríguez Torres is a former Venezuelan government official who served as the Minister of Interior and Justice under President Nicolás Maduro. Known for his role in the repression of opposition protests, Rodríguez Torres was implicated in human rights violations during his tenure. After distancing himself from the chavismo movement, he sought asylum in Spain in 2021. Recently, he has come under investigation for crimes against humanity, following a complaint by Dulce Bravo, a Venezuelan opposition figure who alleges he was involved in her torture during the 2002 protests.
