Mosab Hassan Yousef
Mosab Hassan Yousef, born in 1978 in Ramallah, is the son of a founder of Hamas and was initially raised in a devout Muslim family. He became known for his early involvement in the Palestinian intifada by throwing stones but later became a spy for Israel's Shin Bet, providing critical intelligence that thwarted numerous suicide attacks in the 1990s. His life story is documented in his 2010 memoir 'Son of Hamas' and the 2014 documentary 'The Green Prince.' After seeking asylum in the United States, he has emerged as a controversial figure advocating for coexistence and criticizing Hamas, particularly after the events of October 7, 2023.
