Mu’ayyad Shaa’ban

Mu’ayyad Shaa’ban is the head of the Palestinian Authority’s Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, an organization that opposes Israeli settlements in the West Bank. He has been vocal in his criticism of actions that he perceives as violations of international law, particularly those that entrench settlement realities and undermine the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state. Recently, he condemned the US decision to provide passport services in the Israeli settlement of Efrat, describing it as a clear violation of international law and a favoring of the occupation authorities.
