Nhung Tran-Davies

Nhung Tran-Davies is a Vietnamese-Canadian physician who escaped Vietnam as a child in 1978 with her mother and siblings, fleeing the violence and starvation that followed the fall of Saigon. She was sponsored by an Edmonton church after spending time in a refugee camp in Malaysia. Tran-Davies has dedicated herself to sharing her family's story and the challenges they faced, highlighting the sacrifices made for freedom. She actively participates in commemorative events that honor the legacy of Vietnamese refugees in Canada.
