Noel de Castro

Noel de Castro is a 27-year-old biomedical engineer and aspiring astronaut from Argentina. She has been selected by the American company Axiom Space as a candidate for a future crewed space mission that could take place in 2027. Currently training in fields such as space medicine, microgravity, and survival techniques, she has garnered support from the Argentine government, including the National Commission on Space Activities (CONAE) and the Secretariat of Innovation, Science and Technology (SICyT), in her pursuit to become the first Argentine woman to participate in a private space flight.
